Who are we?
Welcome to Diara, a food processing company that is deeply rooted in the values of Jai Jawan – Jai Kisan. Our ancestors were farmers who hailed from the riverbed land called Diara, where they practiced the art of riverbed farming. They faced many challenges, including floods that would wash away their homes, but they remained resilient and continued to rebuild their lives.
Eventually, my great grandfather joined the defense services to serve our nation, and this legacy continued for three generations, with all of them serving in the armed forces. My father followed in their footsteps and served in the armed forces for 20 years before taking voluntary retirement and venturing into entrepreneurship.
After four generations, we decided to take a step back to our roots and shift our focus towards the agricultural economy, with a keen interest in modern agritech innovation. Diara is one of the most fertile lands in the world, and over the past 40 years, a large population has shifted to urban cities. Our goal is to empower the farmers agriculture economy by setting an example and bringing people back from urban economy to their roots.
Our commitment to this vision is reflected in our company’s name – The House of Chandels, which incorporates our family name. We don’t see ourselves as just another food processing company; we are a symbol of hope for the farming community and a testament to the power of innovation.
